The Whole Health Functional Dentistry Approach

At Whole Health Dentistry we provide a functional approach to your dental care which means we leave no stone unturned when it comes to caring for your mouth. It isn't just about filling cavities and teeth cleaning, complete dental care requires examining how an imbalance in your body impacts your dental hygiene.

We help patients eliminate chronic issues from bad breath, neck pain, and migraines to constant cavities and periodontal disease. With advanced testing, we can also help with early cancer detection and zero in on habits, nutrition, and other lifestyle factors which often create the issues in the first place. Being trained in functional medicine and equipped with advanced dental training, Dr. Loud and her team are able to support your unique health needs with compassion, mentorship, and guidance to upgrade your dental and overall health.

Why Whole Health Dentistry?

“Why am I still sick?” We hear this time and time again from new clients who have seen many providers and even specialists before. We know it’s been frustrating – but the good news that you're finally in the right place!

Unlike many health providers, we take a holistic approach incorporating functional medicine, advanced lab testing paired with up-to-date nutritional science so we can identify exactly what’s out of balance and then help your body return to balance, naturally.

Learn More About Our Approach

Our Approach

Our functional medicine approach is unique because we address both current + longterm health issues in our comprehensive programs. Our goal is to restore your body’s innate healing potential by removing triggering conditions & events, supporting detox and cellular rebuilding.

After our in-depth intake, exploring both past and present symptoms and reviewing lab tests, we’ll craft a personalized treatment protocol for your specific needs so you can finally leave your chronic dis-ease behind.

Root Cause Of Your Illness

At Whole Health Dentistry, we focus on getting to the root causes of your chronic wellness issues – examining the key imbalances that are responsible for virtually all symptoms you’re experiencing right now... instead of just focusing on masking symptoms with expensive prescription meds.

We focus on the “up-stream” triggers of chronic illnesses – including toxicity in your home or work-place, potential food intolerances and allergies, gut & hormonal imbalances, as well as mindset issues that all determine how healthy you are.

Why We're Different

Functional Medicine is the “medicine of the future” because it focuses on restoring your body’s innate healing potential, and not just treating symptoms. It uses a combination of science-driven testing with holistic health practices, to treat the whole person and not just parts of your body.

Since each person is biologically unique, a “one size fits all” approach never works. That’s why when you have a precise understanding of what triggered the symptoms, you can craft a precise treatment plan without relying on guesswork!

In Our Patients Own Words

  • “The best dental practice, doctor and team I have ever been to. They do not just clean your teeth, they care about your overall health. I initially had issues with a pain in my face I complained about for a couple years with another dentist who went here and right away Dr Loud said I had an infection from my root canals. She sent me to the best doctor to do a reverse root canal. Sounds scary but it was the best thing as no more pain! It’s been fine since. I also had braces as a kid and they moved over the years so I had Invisalign as well with Dr Loud. Love my straight teeth! If you just moved here or are looking for a new dentist you will be so glad you called Whole Health Dentistry! ”

  • Hands down, the best dentist I have ever been to. Dr. Loud is amazing, and always on the cutting edge of the newest technology and treatments. Jenny is wonderful, and my favorite hygienist ever. I truly don’t believe you can find better care anywhere else. They treat everyone like family.

    Jessica Kortas

  • Dr. Loud and her team are fantastic.  I’ve had some significant dental work done by her and everything has been top-notch - from scheduling to being offered cold beverages when entering the office, to the kindness of the entire team.  And the work itself is top-notch; I’ve actually had old dental work removed and redone by Dr. Loud as she does such a great job.   Additionally, she has all the latest technology - no more messy molds or endless scrapping with a dental pick.  No one likes going to the dentist, but if you do, Dr. Loud and her team will make it as pleasant as possible.

    Tracy Yasz

  • I visited Dr. Loud for crown work. Dr. Loud and her office provide an exceptionally high quality of service and dental work. I highly recommend Dr. Loud, her dental service is nothing short of excellence. She is very mindful of the need and proper treatment of her patients. The office staff is very courteous and professional. You will not be disappointed if you go to this office. If you are looking for an excellent dentist Dr. Loud is the one.

  • My mom has been so happy with Whole Health Dentistry. I joined her today and understand why she loves it. The staff is wonderful and friendly, and the atmosphere is one of proposing oral health along with overall well-being.

    Teri Gerlach

  • Dr. Eniko Loud is one of the most thorough and knowledgeable dentists I’ve ever been to hands down and to find someone like that who is a conventional dentist fully trained BUT also is a functional medicine practitioner AND a holistic dentist is pretty much impossible to find! She has the latest technology for everything and she is able to do scans and investigate beyond your teeth and up into your face and head and neck with the technology that she uses so you can actually find completely hidden infections or damage that normally cannot be seen by a regular dental exam or x-rays. She was able to find a chip in one of the upper vertebrae that I sustained from a car accident in the past as well as a hidden infection above one of my teeth in my sinus area that nobody else had spotted from an old filling that had been replaced incorrectly by a prior dentist. It wasn’t even bothering me but there it was on the scan. I would have NEVER found out otherwise!

    Monica Hershaft

  • Dr. Loud has always steered me in the right direction when it comes to my dental needs.  She actively listens and makes thoughtful recommendations. She genuinely cares about her patients and I trust her judgment. The staff at Whole Health is very friendly and accommodating. I could not be happier to have found this dental office and would recommend Whole Health Dentistry to anyone.

    Erin Legge

  • If there were 100 stars as an option it wouldn’t be enough for describing my experience with Dr. Loud and the whole team!  Walking into the offices you are immediately welcomed and put at ease! Offered anything you would like to drink. (I’m going back to try the latte!😃)  As one who is terrified of dentists and hasn’t been for some time, I was beyond pleased with the care, explanations of procedures, and overall visit.  I love her philosophy of functional medicine and looking at the whole body!  So glad to have found her through a neighbor’s recommendation.

    Tawn Watkins

  • Dr. Loud and her staff give me the best dental experiences I have ever had.  I actually enjoy going to the dentist now because of the quality of customer service they provide.  The environment is harmonious and happy.  You can feel how much they truly care and have your best interest at heart.  I highly recommend Dr. Loud to everyone who is seeking a positive professional dental experience.  You will be so glad you did!

    Sandi Sue

  • Holistic care in dentistry, finally. Dr. Loud and all her staff are great.  Knowledgeable, professional, but fun as well. It’s such a healing environment. I had an extraction done for an implant. Ozone and lasers were used.  I had literally no pain after the extraction and my mouth healed better than any other prior extraction. Supplements, mouth rinse and ointment are all given for at-home care. Keeping us healthy for healing. Thanks, everybody!

    Laura Randich

  • Dr. Loud and her staff are caring, professionals and take the time for every person who comes through their door.  Best Dental office in Phoenix.  The office is very clean and is refreshing to go into.

    Keaton Allen

  • Lots of excellent information. Staff very friendly and helpful. Dr. Loud spent 2.5 hours going over all of my xrays and explaining how your mouth's health affects everything else. I have been going to dentists for years and have never heard these things from anyone.
